Dental Implant Surgical Guide
-
Prior to dental implant surgery a "Surgical Guide" is fabricated at a dental laboratory. This guide aids Dr. Logue in placing the dental implant in the most ideal position for predictability and esthetics. Radiopaque markers used in the surgical guide in conjunction with a cone beam scan can verify placement location of the dental implants.

Teeth within a day after Dental Implant Placement
-
Dental implant technology has advanced to the point where a "temporary tooth" may be placed on the dental implant within a day. The patient must meet certain criteria to be a candidate for this "immediate loading". The criteria would include such things as: good bone quality and adequate quantity, no evidence of infection, non-smoker, and good overall health. Our office will coordinate your dental implant surgery with your restorative dentist.
